YOGA CLASSES | What is Yoga?
Please call or enroll on-line for classes as space is limited. For the 5:30 am Yoga class, you MUST be enrolled by 6:00 pm the night before. Thank You.
Yoga I/II - If you are new to yoga and hope to discover that down dog really is a resting pose. Take advantage of greater individual attention, and focus on building a solid, strong yoga practice. These classes are recommended for everyone but especially beginners since they prepare the body for the more demanding poses and sequences found in higher level classes.
Yoga II - Intermediate yoga is designed for those with yoga experience. These classes build on postures in a structured and progressive format as well as introduce more difficult variations.
Gentle Yoga - Welcomes all levels of ability. Calming restorative poses are taught with emphasis on alignment, symmetry and technique. Yoga props may be used to help safely open the body, build strength and flexibility and develop the mind-spirit connection.
Yoga with Dr. Linda Rowe - Linda Rowe brings her experience as a Chiropractor and YogaFit Master Trainer into her class style. Her Vinyasa flow classes build strength, endurance, flexibility and overall well-being. Linda also incorporates other therapeutic methods such as Myofascial release with Foam Rollers into her classes.

Kundalini Yoga - Kundalini Yoga was brought to the West by Yogi Bhajan in 1968. It is known as the Yoga of Awareness. Kundalini yoga classes "are a dynamic blend of postures, pranayam, mantra, music and meditation, which teach you the art of relaxation, self-healing and elevation. Balancing body and mind enables you to experience the clarity and beauty of your soul. No previous experience in yoga is required for you to achieve results with your very first class." Y.B. “Our Time” Yoga - (Not offered at this time, please let us know if your interested)Toddlers 2- 4yrs and their Parents are invited to come and explore Yoga together. This active theme class is a great way to stretch, play, sing, and have fun with your little one! Discover your toddler's natural ability to do yoga as they interact with each other and you. An introduction to breath, focus, asana, and relaxation are discovered. You are welcome to stay with your child or take the Yoga Class in the room next door while your child has there own class!
KidYoga Play - Take your own class the same time as your child!
For All ages! If your child is comfortable with doing a class on there own, then this will be great for both of you! We believe as caregivers it is challenging to take care of others without feeding our own spirit, and kids need healthy time away from us as parents also. This fun kids yoga class is designed for your child to explore Yoga while you take your own class in the next room. In Yoga play we we focus on games, imagination, stories and simple practices to introduce the healthy benefits of yoga, and the kids have a yoga blast!

Kids Yoga - (Not offered at this time, please let us know if your interested) Age 5-7 years. Since this is a very playful age, we focus on games, imagination, stories and simple practices to introduce the healthy benefits of yoga. Children in this age range want to jump right in and move. Focus is on enjoying yoga through play. Social, emotional, physical and cognitive development of children at this stage will be addressed. Engaging interaction and enthusiastic communication skills will also be taught along with methods for creating a positive classroom environment.
Youth Yoga - (Not offered at this time, please let us know if your interested)
Age 8-10 years. We work with the evolving intelligence, social awareness and physical growth of kids in this age range while teaching appealing ways to foster their development. Children at this level have more impulse control than younger ones and can more fully assimilate the concepts of yoga. Physical adjustments will be taught as this age group becomes more interested in doing the poses accurately and experiencing the benefits. We will focus on observing and reinforcing positive behavior through classroom activities and will explore creating a cooperative community in class.
Family Yoga - With wide age ranges and levels of ability, this class is fun and especially rewarding. Health begins at home. Family Yoga teaches simple routines, games and partner poses the whole family will love. Ages 5+
PILATES CLASSES | What is Pilates?
Intro to Pilates - This is a beginning level 30min. class conducted on the floor with mats. You will learn the basic principles of pilates, working slowly and correctly to build core strength and flexibility. Other props such as therabands and fitness circles will be incorporated to make your workout more challenging. This Intro class will prepare you for the next pilates class if you choose to stay , mat pilates I/II.
Pilates I/II - Intermediate & Advanced Pilates - This is an intermediate to advanced level class conducted on the floor with mats. Experience new exercise variations and a faster paced workout, progress to an advanced level, adding in more complicated and challenging exercises that require greater flexibility, endurance and strength.
Pilates Reformer Training - Reformer training is one-on-one pilates training on a specialized table which allows you to increase or decrease resistance to pilates movement. You receive the personal attention of a certified pilates instructor who develops a program designed to fit your body’s needs. You will learn the basic principles of pilates, working slowly and correctly to build core strength and flexibility.
Group Reformer - Pilates Reformer Training in a group class setting. Up to 4 clients in a class. Must call ahead to reserve your spot! pre-requisite of either Mat Pilates or 5 Private Reformer Sessions.
NIA & BELLY DANCE CLASSES
The Nia Technique -Mind/Body Fitness Through expressive movement - the Body's Way - Nia empowers people to achieve physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health and well-being. It is the first and foremost 'fusion fitness' program of its kind, inspired by three art forms: The Dance Arts - Jazz, Modern, Duncan; The Healing Arts - Yoga, the work of Moshe Feldenkrais, The Alexander Technique; and The Martial Arts - Aikido, Tae Kwon Do, Tai Chi. Come discover the power and joy of this creative, savvy, energizing fitness class.
Nia 5 Stages-The Nia 5 Stages is an integrative movement practice based on five stages of human development: Embryonic, Creeping, Crawling, Standing and Walking. Practiced with awareness, these stages have the power to facilitate optimal alignment, improved function and comfort in the body. Whether practiced at length or for as little as five minutes a day, this system provides a tool for reclaiming and sustaining mobility, flexability, strength, agility and stability.
Belly Dance Level I - Beginner Cabaret is for students with little to no experience in belly dance. Become more graceful, flexible and toned through the beautiful, ancient art of belly dance. Learn posture, isolated body movements and the use of the veil. Students will learn belly dance basics and develop their own style of dance.
Beyond Beginner - This class is for those who have a basic foundation of Belly Dance Movement and are ready to do more with their dance. We will be working on intermediate layering and isolations, hands and arms, posture, musicality, choreography and improv along with performance based concepts such as audience connection, dancing with emotion, entrance, exits and being dramatic. Whether or not you actually choose to perform Belly Dance this will be a fun yet challenging class that will help you to advance your dance!
Belly Dance Level II - Intermediate Cabaret is for students with previous belly dance experience. Building on the basics we will work on layering and combos and continue working with veil. Students will have the opportunity to choreograph their own routine or learn a class student routine to perform at the student show.
Private lessons/classes - We offer private and semi-private belly dance, Pilates, Pilates Reformer and Yoga lessons at the studio. We also offer private classes to learn basic belly dance off-site or at the studio.
Belly Dance Entertainment - We offer belly dance performances for weddings, birthdays, showers, work events and any other occassion you need. Call for pricing.
